Lua Lemba Education and Community Development Foundation (Lua Lemba)

Lua Lemba is an Indonesian not for profit organisation, established four years ago in Dehla to manage the community development activities of the Dehla communities. Lua Lemba has established itself as a credible organisation in the community, and community satisfaction with Lua Lemba is very high.



Turusuala Village Model Training Centre

Turusuala is a residential vocational training centre located in AvuAvu. It was established with strong community financial and political support and has only been operating since 2003.

Bonobo Conservation Initiative

BCI is a Washington-based NFP set up to help ensure the survival of the great ape, the Bonobo, that exist now only in small areas in the Congo. Their philosophy emphasizes that Bonobos live in a human landscape and that the local and indigenous people will be the ultimate stewards of the land. IF is looking to partner with BCI in supporting environmental and health initiatives for communities surrounding Bonobo populations.

Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia
