Alice
Martin - Treasurer
I
became involved with Indigo as l wanted to use my accounting
skills in a socially responsible way whilst on a permanent
maternity leave. Therese Huxtable suggested l spoke
to Sally and l joined the team.
After
qualifying and working as an accountant in Scotland
l moved to Australia as l had married a Wollongong man.
I worked in the food industry for several years before
starting our family. I combined work and children until
the twins arrived bringing the total number of children
to four. We then all spent several years in Townsville
before returning to Wollongong. As a family we enjoy
bushwalking, skiing and kayaking.
