Fundraising Events
In the last few months of 2011, Anthony Menherre will be cycling around Victoria and raising awareness and funds for our Uganda project as part of his Duke of Edinburgh award. He will be visiting schools and service clubs on our behalf and aims to raise $10,000. Anthony has arranged for us to partner with Post Placement Support Service between 19th and 23rd December to host an interactive display at the Westfield Shopping Plaza Geelong. He and his team will be in ‘The Basement’ with photos from the ride, a chance to win raffle prizes for Christmas and great info on both organisations.
In The Media
In 2010, the ABC’s Foreign Correspondent program broadcast a story set in Kokolopori, Congo. While there the crew visited our clinic and interviewed a few of our team members. Watch the story on the Foreign Correspondent website by clicking the logo below. Let us know what you think by posting your feedback on our facebook page.

In September 2009 our chair Sally Stevenson won a University of Wollongong Chancellor’s Award for Achievement in Community Service for her commitment to indigo foundation. Sally recieved a $5,000 grant to go to the voluntary organisation of her choice… which was, of course indigo foundation! In July 2010 Sally was asked, in her capacity as chair, to deliver the Occasional Address at the University of Wollongong graduation ceremony. Thanks to Sally and congratulations.
